Our pre-K adventure at the Zoo started out with walking to the secret garden that not many visitors know about…a big hit! We tried to get the brown bear to scratch his back, but he wouldn’t. As we walked to the primate area we guessed what the name of the dinosaur with the blue pointed crest might be. When we approached, it made a screaming noise while protecting three eggs in the nest…it gave us quite a fright! Toward the end of our visit, we decided It was worth the long hike to Grandma Elephant’s home where we found her eating grass and playing with a white belt. The Zoo was incredible, but when the votes were counted, it was the bus ride on Colorado Boulevard that won the award for the favorite part of the day!
