In addition to the daily age-appropriate activities in music, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), drama, physical awareness (yoga), and fine arts, children participate in Spanish and Music Together programs. Staff members who have training in early childhood education with an emphasis in their specialty teach both classes weekly during the academic year.
The Benefits of a Foreign Language Begin At An Early Age
For young children, language learning is both intuitive and natural. The experience boosts their confidence and increases their desire for new discoveries. Once a week during the academic months, Miss Sandra provides a dynamic Spanish program that is both stimulating and fun. She incorporates hands on language, music and movement activities into her class and shares her vibrant “Latino” energy with all.
Speaking the Language of Music
Plenty of play and fun is provided by Miss Pat and her keyboard during the Music Together program. Through the joy of singing, dancing, moving, and playing instruments with the younger children, she supports learning, language, social, and physical development.
“Your tender support, invaluable teaching, the enrichment programs, and ALL THAT LOVE, has given our Chesney a wonderful start. Always appreciative”
